Fraud and stolen money at IB. I had an account for over 2 years with IB. I trade regularly, so I login into account after 20 min break and see 96000 of irrelevant stocks purchased for over 12K USD of my money (also used credit). I started to contact IB immediately about the fraud. During this time bought stocks dropped down 80%. The whole IB answer was -“change password, but stocks are now yours, take your risks” Which risks!? I have had 2 factor authentication, IB key and protected pass. The platform just allow to break-in the accounts like kids web-site and takes zero responsibility. I spent 3 hours talking to them and they dared even to say that I have passed my credentials myself. Shame! And loss of 12K just because financial platform do not protect data! 👎🏻
