They have been incompetent in pretty much every situation I have used IB.
It seems to be run by people who don't understand what a brokerage is. Things go wrong and then they blame you.
They will send numerous emails telling you what a market order is (I haven't found a way to turn this off), and then not send an email about important things that you need to action immediately.
Customer service does not exist. There is no contact number, tickets take days for a response.
The website probably has lots of information, but it is so hard to find behind a maze of menus.
Fees are less than some competitors but not all.
I have used numerous brokerages over many years and this is definitely the most incompetent.
Would not recommend.
