I’m writing this to warn others: be very careful if you’re thinking of trading with Spreadex.

After making a profit of close to £90,000, my account was suddenly suspended — right at the moment I was about to close my position and take my profit. Since then, I’ve asked repeatedly for a clear reason, but they haven’t given me one.

It turns out their contract includes vague discretionary terms that basically allow them to suspend your account whenever they choose, without any explanation. In my case, it feels like they used that to stop me from taking my profit.

I’ve now reported this to the regulators for investigation. And if anyone from Spreadex wants to challenge what I’m saying, I’m happy to make the evidence public.

This has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing — I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience.
